IB MYP –
Kavod Charter School middle school is an International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Program. IB World Schools share a common philosophy—a commitment to improve the teaching and learning of a diverse and inclusive community of students by delivering challenging and high quality programs. Kavod is 1 of only 4 of the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programs in San Diego and students who attend Kavod have a priority preference in SDUSD IB program high schools.
The International Baccalaureate aligns perfectly with Kavod as it aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. IB programs encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
