Just because school is out for summer break doesn’t mean learning comes to a halt. This summer, we are challenging Kavod Charter School students to take on the OLAM Summer Challenge (OLAM kayitz etgar). The Summer Challenge not only encourages our explorers to continue their love for learning, but also to continue caring for our community over summer break.

Where to Start?

Our summer enrichment materials are broken down by the grade your child is entering this school year. Each folder is filled with different activities from math, reading, writing, and Hebrew to physical activity, crafts, good deeds and ways to make the world a better place this summer. We love that many of these materials are screen-free and can be accomplished independently. Ready to dive in?

Locate your child’s grade level and print off the activities in the Summer Resources folder. Keep track of all of your work in the logs, as well as the assignments you complete. That’s all there is to it.

To be eligible for the prizes, explorers need to turn in to their homeroom teacher or advisory teacher the following by Friday, August 23, 2024:

1) The Completion Page, with a Guardian’s Signature

2) Completed Math and Writing Assignments

3) Reading Log

4) Hebrew Activities Log

5) Good Deeds Log

6) Physical Activity Log

7) Family Expectation Acknowledgment

Everyone’s a winner when we challenge ourselves and enrich our mind. Good luck! Additional resources can be found on the Kavod Summer Resources Page to further support our explorers over the summer.
